[Fun fact of the day: baby Totodiles really, REALLY like biting things. Nui seems okay with that, if today's broadcast is any indication. She's got a disturbingly realistic Skitty plushie dangling off an Old Rod, letting her Totodile Bottes snap enthiasticly snap at it. Nui herself is not moving the makeshift toy at all, but she doesn't need to; Bottes, while enthusiastic, is not terribly accurate yet and his own missed attacks are causing the line to bounce around wildly. The Skitty plush squeaking occasionally as Bottes' jaws land a hit.]
They're quite vicious even as infants, aren't they?
[Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. Quite the opposite, it would seem, as Nui drops the toy entirely and lets Bottes savage it to his toothy heart's content. She turns the Pokégear's camera around to show herself, smiling placidly at the frantic squeaks and the sound of shredding fabric.]
I've noticed a lot of them seem a bit inelegant, though. So I decided to do something about it!
[The camera spins again, past the Totodile wallowing in the remains of its toy, focusing on Ryuko, her Zangoose. More specifically, on the outfit she's made for it. It's something akin to a wide-shouldered vest, two wide pieces of fabric coming down the Pokémon's chest to meet at the waist and tied with a wide sash before flaring out into a large, poofy hem of pleated fabric that's not quite a skirt. Nui also seems to have outfitted the Zangoose with what look like fingerless, elbow-length gloves that leave her wicked-looking claws free.]
[Everything except the white sash at Ryuko's waist is in dark shades of magenta, and the Zangoose looks like she'd rather be anywhere but here.]
This is just a prototype, of course. This is my first time designing clothing for such an unusual monster, but I think it's promising so far!

9/5/14 03:37 (UTC)[What made you think asking that question to this woman would lead to anything good ever, Garry.]
Well, if I had to narrow it down to one thing besides you questioning my expertise, I guess I'd have to say it's that hair.

9/5/14 08:23 (UTC)Ah- [!] There's nothing wrong with my hair!

11/5/14 15:41 (UTC)[She's not, really. But she does find it kind of sad.]
It's all messy-looking, and you've got it in that faux-emo cut. If there's something wrong with your face, there are better ways to hide it.
[Like an eyepatch made of your name, say.]
At least you dyed it a pretty color.

12/5/14 18:10 (UTC)It's supposed to look messy. You know, one doesn't have to be "emo" to have their hair fall on one side of their face.
(no subject)
12/5/14 20:20 (UTC)So something IS wrong with that side of your face, then?
Are you missing an eye? I could make you a patch that would look much better, if you asked nicely.

13/5/14 10:41 (UTC)[Huff...]
...What kind of patch?

15/5/14 02:25 (UTC)[Your hair is ridiculous and she will not let go of that. Obviously you should have a more sensible style like a pair of giant, gravity-defying pigtails.]
Maybe a stylized 'G' from the Western alphabet? Or something floral. You're a little girly, it could work.

16/5/14 14:24 (UTC)[He will protest this to the end of time, dammit.]
I'm fine with being considered 'girly', so that wouldn't bother me at all. [Actually...] It might even be fitting, now that I think about it.

30/5/14 01:35 (UTC)[Calling Garry 'girly' is probably about as close as she'll get to complimenting him, actually.]
Honestly, you should probably just embrace it. More than you do already, I mean. It might actually make you look halfway decent.

30/5/14 08:27 (UTC)[Why are the cute ones always super rude, what is this]
What would you say I need to be more girly then? Most have already told me that I'm rather like that without much effort.
[Totally not his way of speaking or anything or his pretty face.]
