So no one knows who brought everyone here, is that right?
[The young woman asking peers curiously into the Pokégear's camera; either unaware or ignoring the Zangoose and Seviper visible behind her, looking ready to tear each other apart. They're not QUITE fighting just yet, but it's clearly just a matter of time.]
I really would love to speak to whoever did this. There's just so many questions for them!
[And for whatever reason, that's what sets off the Pokémon behind Nui. The fight is sudden and loud, and pretty clearly in favor of the Zangoose.]
[The noise is enough to distract Nui... for about a second. She turns back to the camera with the same cheerful smile she started the broadcast with. In fact, it might actually be faintly wider.]
They're rather cute, aren't they? I could almost like it here.

18/4/14 06:09 (UTC)[But Garry is obviously a bit distracted as he talks, brow furrowed and his gaze focused on the pair of Pokemon behind her.]
You really should find a way to separate them, it looks like they'll really get hurt...
(no subject)
19/4/14 22:00 (UTC)[She glances behind her again as Garry mentions her Pokémon.]
Oh, they'll be fine. That boring little book thing said they're supposed to fight, right?
(no subject)
19/4/14 23:26 (UTC)(no subject)
20/4/14 00:23 (UTC)Is there something wrong with them fighting? It seems like that would be much easier than going out and finding more of them.
(no subject)
20/4/14 01:02 (UTC)Ah, besides, other Pokemon aren't very hard to find at all, really. It wouldn't be much trouble.
(no subject)
21/4/14 00:19 (UTC)[If her Pokemon need to work as a team or anything sappy like that to get something done, they're obviously doing something wrong.]
Besides, this way they'll establish their silly little dominance structure now, when it's even more unimportant than usual.
(no subject)
21/4/14 01:17 (UTC)[Garry's tone is starting to slip from his usual gentle and concerned manner to something a bit more serious and disapproving.]
You can't rely on just one Pokemon your entire time here.
(no subject)
21/4/14 02:27 (UTC)[She meant more sending them out one at a time, but if that's how Garry wants to take it...]
I'd just have to make sure they were the strongest monster around, right?
(no subject)
21/4/14 02:33 (UTC)(no subject)
23/4/14 03:08 (UTC)[If she could do it back home that means her Pokemon should be able to with no problem, right?]
And if not it would just be a matter of making sure the enemy couldn't use their full strength, right?
(no subject)
23/4/14 03:53 (UTC)I think even at half strength, some of the people I've heard about here could beat you in a battle...
(no subject)
27/4/14 01:23 (UTC)Well, that's probably just because you haven't heard of me.
[There is probably a pretty sharp learning curve at some point in her future.]
Harime Nui, Grand Couturier of the REVOCS corporation.
[She doesn't actually TELL Garry to bow and scrape, but it's implied.]
(no subject)
27/4/14 03:00 (UTC)I've never heard of it. [Welp.] I doubt many others will here, either. I don't think many others will be from the same place that you are, after all.
(no subject)
2/5/14 03:05 (UTC)[No she's not disturbed that she's apparently much farther from home than she might have thought, what are you talking about. YOUR FACE is disturbed.]
Guess I'll have to fix that.
(no subject)
2/5/14 04:27 (UTC)Ah... Should I ask how you plan to do that?
(no subject)
6/5/14 03:00 (UTC)If you wanted to be rude and pry into a lady's plans, yes.
[Plans which are definitely fully formed and in no way still at the stage of 'I'LL SHOW THEM ALL'.]
Anyway, I'll have to find out more about the fashions here first.
(no subject)
7/5/14 07:09 (UTC)[Rude! Calling him rude. Gosh.]
Well, good luck on that then. I can recommend you a few magazines and shops, if you'd like, although all of the shops are unfortunately in Goldenrod. I haven't had a chance to go to any of the other towns, alhtough New Bark and Cherrygrove were too small to have much...
(no subject)
9/5/14 03:24 (UTC)[She's not about to stoop low enough to accept help on haute couture from some human guy she's just met.]
(no subject)
9/5/14 08:21 (UTC)video;
18/4/14 13:31 (UTC)You know, "cute" isn't exactly the word I'd use to describe two things trying to kill the other.
Re: video;
19/4/14 22:16 (UTC)[As she speaks the Seviper has wrapped up and is uselessly trying to gnaw on the Zangoose, who has resorted to flailing at the Seviper with a now-restrained Scratch attack.]
(no subject)
19/4/14 23:50 (UTC)He likes this much better, actually.]
Seems much more appropriate than a duel with such strict rules.
I like it.
(no subject)
20/4/14 00:45 (UTC)[And anyway these things are monsters, not people.]
Besides, this way I can really see which of them is stronger.
(no subject)
20/4/14 01:07 (UTC)Unless they're equally matched and kill each other.
Then you'd have to get new critters.
(no subject)
21/4/14 00:29 (UTC)[The guide mentioned that Pokemon don't die easily, and finding out exactly what their limits might be WOULD be useful... but hunting down new ones entirely on her own doesn't sound fun.]
[Nui takes a second to look over her shoulder again at the struggling Pokemon.]
If they start getting hurt real bad I guess I'll have to step in and stitch them up. I'd hate to break up their fun so soon.
(no subject)
21/4/14 00:42 (UTC)[He's still watching them with curiosity. The fighting doesn't even seem to be drawing any blood which is really weird.
He is never going to get used to this whole "violent is bad" world. Especially since a key part of it is making animals fight each other for fun.]
They're pretty fun to watch, actually. None of mine fight like that. It's actually pretty boring compared to the pair you've got.
(no subject)
21/4/14 02:40 (UTC)[Obviously she'd have way better Pokémon than anyone else, she's a grand couturier. It just makes sense.
To her.]I bet yours would be less boring if you MADE them fight.
(no subject)
22/4/14 00:01 (UTC)Yeah?
I've tried that and it actually doesn't work out that well. Unfortunately I think your monsters are the exception rather than the rule.
This place seems pretty big on peace and tranquility.
(no subject)
23/4/14 03:25 (UTC)[Looks like she lucked out getting a pair of natural enemies for her starters.]
They may say it's about tranquility, but giving everyone monsters to fight says otherwise.
(no subject)
23/4/14 03:36 (UTC)But then again this is the place where a crazy bat told me she's my mom when I woke up here in the first place. I don't think this place enjoys making sense.
(no subject)
27/4/14 01:31 (UTC)[No she's not plotting violent chaos, why would you think that.]
(no subject)
27/4/14 01:34 (UTC)I agree.
(no subject)
2/5/14 03:17 (UTC)[That's how she's choosing to take it, anyway.]
Thanks, but I usually work alone.
[She's mentally adding Greed to the list of 'Humans I Hate Slightly Less Than The Others'. When the time comes she'll kill you... not LAST, but probably not first.]
(no subject)
2/5/14 03:29 (UTC)[If it was an offer or not, he's not going to let on either way.]
To be honest, I'm liking that you'd end up with Pokemon that hate each other. Means you're going to have a fun time here, I think.
[Ohhh good luck. Better people than you have tried. But he's not going to say "no" if it comes to an all out brawl. Not at all.]
We'll have to keep in touch. That way, if I find any pokemon that also hate each other, you can learn all about them.
(no subject)
6/5/14 03:04 (UTC)[Genuine and non-ironic appreciation, for once. This inter-team rivalry she seems to have been gifted with is way too enjoyable, and it would be sort of depressing to think that it might not be reproducible elsewhere.]
Harime Nui, Grand Couturier. And you?
(no subject)
6/5/14 04:33 (UTC)[He smiles politely.]
Names Greed. Pleased to meet you, Miss Nui.
[text]
18/4/14 23:22 (UTC)Unfortunately, no one knows and no one's getting close to finding out. Tough.
They are cute though! But it's even better to see them completely, ruthless trample each other to bits in a battle on equal footing.
19/4/14 22:22 (UTC)[She can totally do that, she's sure. It's just a matter of
stabbingasking the right people, right?]Hm, I don't think they're quite equal, unfortunately. I think Ryuko-chan is a little stronger.
[The Zangoose in question slams the Seviper into the floor behind Nui.]
[text]
20/4/14 09:51 (UTC)[Pokémon battles are brutal things.] They'll easily get stronger. And it's so fun to ruthlessly tear other Pokémon to pieces!
21/4/14 00:38 (UTC)[Nui is starting to get that she'll have to let them hunt other Pokemon at some point, but she still doesn't think it's a big deal to let them
kill each otherplay a little first.]If I let them train like this, it'll be even easier for them to tear apart the real enemies later.
[text]
21/4/14 05:19 (UTC)Well, play-fighting does train cubs. People are bothered by letting your own Pokémon fight each other without orders, though! Especially indoors.
[Hmmmm.]
23/4/14 03:34 (UTC)[Nui glances back at her Pokemon again. Now they're rolling on the floor in a violent tangle, snapping and striking at each other with claws and tail.]
Not letting them do it at least once would've been cruel.
(no subject)
23/4/14 04:39 (UTC)Once they start disadvantaging you, though, which they will at the rate they're going, you'll have to step in.
[SAIONJI... YOUR PRIORITIES...] The snake seems good at escaping to have lasted so long, though. Good aim too.
(no subject)
27/4/14 01:55 (UTC)[She fiddled enough with the Pokegear to know that Ryuko is quite a few levels above Satsuki, whatever that means exactly.]
I'll step in when I have to. Probably. It'll be useful knowing what their limits are, though.
(no subject)
27/4/14 23:18 (UTC)[Actual curiosity... this girl seems to have a strange kind of innocence and sensibility? No, not really. Saionji would wager she's quite like herself- cute, has something of an 'idol' appearance, so probably get preyed on too. Huh.]
So little people actually think about combat and strategics when they arrive, your thinking is actually feels refreshing.
(no subject)
2/5/14 03:19 (UTC)[For a human, anyway.]
The real Lady Satsuki doesn't know how to quit, either.
(no subject)
2/5/14 09:15 (UTC)Well, I have to get going- hopefully, you stay here long enough for me to talk to you again!
[Does Nui even know about the whole 'suddenly leaves this plane of existence' thing...?]
(no subject)
6/5/14 03:12 (UTC)This place is turning out to be just so interesting, I don't think I could leave just yet.
[That would require knowing where exactly Johto is relative to her home, after all.]
And I really would like to find the people who brought me here, if I can.
